AND THE CASH PRIZE goes to shiraz!....:) (buddy, gimme 2 years will send u the money)...bad joke eh?
my heart leaps up when i behold a "comment" on my blog...
HEY
that gives me a thought. you know...that reminds me of Alfred Lord Tennyson ....."my heart leaps up when i behold a rainbow in the sky.." i think the kids born nowadays may not even have heard of such poets.....the joy which comes out of being with nature and thinking about those long ago days and ancient times...poetry inspires art and other creativity...the kids nowadays will learn at a young age how to operate computers, other gadgets...sure. technically advanced kids....but what about their hearts leaping up at the sight of a rainbow? i guess within the confines of a concrete jungle (its cliche but true) they wouldnt even get a glimpse of the rainbow because they will be too busy looking for their rain-gear and staying indoors lest they get "wet"...
GAWD i could debate on this....
something to think of....

Sorry about your ankle... I can so relate to the pain and frustration of not being able to do things! Let me know where you go on 14th with your mom.. She does need a break.. give her my love...
as for concrete jungles... you couldn't have put it better.. The new generation is not gonna wat are trees and grass either since it looks like it's all gonna be desert by the time folks are done with their deforestation!

  2. Totally true. All this "gadget-gizmos" and stuff, does put nature in the secondary priorities...which is really sad :(

  4. @mallika - YEAH girl think about it. who wants to be with nature nowadays? as such not many people can afford all the fancy nature destinations and adventure tours. NATURE for the sake of NATURE...that concept is gone...but its nobody's fault. you tell me the name of a single natural spot near vadodara...? :) see?
