Development with Nature

The relationship of human development with nature is much less understood than one would imagine.
What I have seen in Australia is there are perfect roads and perfect parks with buildings and railway. There are pre-determined areas chalked out for trees and wildlife to flourish. Tall skyscrapers can rival any other developed nation and Melbourne has always been in the "world's most live-able cities" list.

That is because each morning when I step out of my home, I can see atleast five different bird species around. Sparrows, crows and sometimes sea-gulls are seen happily co-existing with the so called concrete-jungle. That is what is to be learnt from here....development does not have to be at the cost of nature. So throw away those ideas and imagery that implies human advancement leads to loss of flora and fauna...instead embrace a new way of thinking in which it is a win-win situation...come to Melbourne and find out how.
